I am in the midst of making a series of animations set to songs, here, and midway, I figured out something important.
The song has a lyric about reading a book, so I made an animated book, with things coming out of the book. When the second page starts turning, the sparkly heart that came out of the first page disappears, and a new sparkler, a girl carrying a horse, emerges instead.
Well, the lyric right then, as that happens, is “I stay”. And I finally figured out that I can’t have something disappearing when the song is saying “stay”!
So I changed the heart and the girl/horse, and now, instead of the heart disappearing, it stays, and when the second page turns, something just gets added to it. Sadly, this means the girl with the horse had be taken out, but I have her in other animations.
You can see the difference here, with the first video, where the heart disappears:
And here, you can see the new approach. I actually haven’t yet rendered the heart out again, anew, but I made a flower with the similar idea.
