This building has recently been renovated and now it’s got lots of shops in it.
But it used to be a movie theatre back in the day and there’s a story about that door on the far left.
You guessed it: that little side door was the door Black people had to enter through. Everyone else went through the double doors. Now, this is just a nice, welcoming building where you can get popcorns, and treats for your pet, and embroidery thread, and little girls cute dresses, and coffee, and honey. But we do indeed have history all around us, even when it’s not marked.
