Every year at Christmas time, the Norwegian embassy puts a Christmas tree in the main train station in Washington DC.
It’s an ugly looking tree:
They do this every year. I don’t know for how long, but back when I was passing through Union Station all the time in the early 2010s, they also had one every year.
Back then, they also had a cute toy Christmas train zipping through some pretty winter scene, but they don’t do that anymore. They should have kept the cute toy train, and gotten rid of the Norwegian tree.
Washington DC was in general all dressed up for Christmas, it was really pretty:
