US mail is slower (both domestic and international)

Back in 2019, a letter from the east coast of the US would get to Sweden or Denmark in about 10-11 days, every single time. And a letter to Australia would get there in 2 weeks.

Ever since about 2022, a letter to Sweden or Denmark, no joke, takes about 20 days. Seriously?

And a letter to Australia these days can take a full month. Seriously?

Same for mail going coast to coast in the US. It used to be a letter going from the East Coast to the locales around Loser-trashy-ville (California) would take about 5 days. Sometimes, if you dropped a letter off on Friday, it would have arrived by the next Monday. So one single weekend.

These days, it never fails to take less than a full week for mail to cross the country.
